Mary Portalska - Fees & Membership Administrator/Show Assistant
Mary has been involved in theatre for several years, helping behind the scenes on a variety of shows including The Little Mermaid, The Wizard of Oz and Spamalot, as well as several pantomimes. She loves sourcing and making costumes (with limited sewing skills!) and is always ready backstage with a safety pin. She likes the challenge of finding and creating props (her favourite tool is her hot glue gun!) and has also been involved with designing and painting theatre sets. Last year she wrote a pantomime, Sleeping Beauty, which was performed by local theatre group Digswell Players in Welwyn, as well as four other theatre groups around the country. Mary joined the Mimic team in 2020 and enjoys being part of their amazing shows.
Billy - Mimic Dog
Billy has been involved in the company since its creation in early 2018. Billy has assisted in the distribution of marketing and appeared at the various events Mimic has attended. He can generally be seen pottering around the Mimic office dropping food pellets over the floor for the directors to tidy when they have nothing else to do.
