Mimic Youth Theatre
Mimic offers an environment for young actors to work on their skills amongst like-minded people and learn by doing. We help our youth members build confidence, improve their acting technique and gain life skills such as socialising, networking and being able to put themselves forward for opportunities. We work hard to ensure we cater for the individual needs of the group and maximise our class sizes to ensure all our members receive attention. All our youth groups perform in shows regularly as we believe this is the best way to learn, make memories and have amazing life experiences at the same time.
Our youth theatre company is an actor training playground, helping prepare young actors to prepare for a career in the arts. Whereas our youth theatre groups (our Beginner, Junior and Hertford youth theatres), are designed to offer members the opportunity to perform, act purely for enjoyment (whether or not they want to be actors), to meet people and build confidence in themselves as people as well as performers. Both the youth theatre company and youth groups are offered industry opportunities including agency visits, professional headshots, West End theatre trips, masterclasses with exciting creatives, and much more.
Our Youth Theatre has four offerings:

Beginner Youth Theatre (6-9 yrs)
Beginner Drama & Acting Classes. These classes focus on learning how to improvise and use imagination, work with scripts, develop characters and perform. This group is acting-only with no singing or dancing in class, but with the option to take part in musicals with other groups each year.
